查《牛津现代英汉双解词典》（Oxford English-Chinese Dictionary）得词条“go”第二十四条词义：
go, v. … 24. intr. （usu. foll. by常后跟to）refer or appeal求助（于），诉诸（go to him for help求助于他）
所以go to sb有找人帮忙的意思。
又从张道真《现代英语用法词典》（A Dictionary of Current English）查到，go to有 “去（某处）参加（某活动）”之意。并有例句：
He never would go to a doctor himself. （他从不会独自去看医生。）
这样我们就可以理解You must be going to a bad teacher.的意思了。（你肯定找了一个糟糕的老师。）翻成“教你的人不会叫”是很棒的。
另外，go to sb还有“被给予， 被…得去”之意。如：
The first prize for Biology went to the youngest child in the class.（生物一等奖被班上年纪最小的孩子获得。）
